it probably fell over with the v4 I spent the day watching retards kick sports bikes seat panels getting on and off. muppetry.
Looks good Gary I drove past the other day and you were working on it in the garage. I was itching to stop for a nosey, but was already late for picking my son up from football
Thanks, but I have 2 sets of track fairings and a set of red fairings to go with the immaculate 1299 exhaust I got from @ian littlejohn That looks lovely!
If you see it in person, it’s very greenish. Not the shade of gold I wanted for sure. What I wanted What I got
Custom ram ball mounting. Basically a threaded aluminium washer down, a plain aluminium washer up and two nylon washers sandwiched between the aluminium washers and the stem nut. All in all a pretty neat job.
Yes. Personally I prefer the Harris. A bit sturdier, and more reliable delivery. I think the Harris were even slightly cheaper (~£40)
To clarify, I looked to order the geetech. However, doing everything through Facebook was slightly off-putting, and the response on 4th Dec of them not being available until some vague time “after Christmas” was not very helpful when I wanted to start getting the bike apart. I was able to get delivery of the cheaper (£292 for Harris vs £310 for Geetech) Harris stands within 4 days. I have also seen a single sided geetech rear paddock stand pin bend, which could have been a one off, but was an issue for me. I also had a Harris Stand for years that I loved.
I’ve got both Gtech and Harris stands, and they’re both very good The gtech ones are a little bit sturdier, and nicer made, but not much
