Nice one Bradders, were all here to help with knowledge are we not? Perhaps I should have been wrong to keep you happy, I will remember this valuable lesson in the future
I know nothing. At all. About anything. Other than being wrong. I know all about being wrong. 23 years of marraige was great practice for this forum
Will these go as low as £12500 by the end of 2018? Thinking of buying one but not sure if the prices bottomed yet. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/16-DUCAT...732822?hash=item3f8efaadd6:g:eRUAAOSwGPxaMYfY
I will check my crystal ball Nah. it's fuzzy - now if I was a betting man I would think they have quite a long way to go before they have bottomed out
Traditionally Ducati R bikes drop to around 50% New Price - S and Base models drop nearer to 33% of new price (ish) but there may be a little difference with the V Twins being no more - they could hold out a little stronger than before but not massively I don't think. They sold quite a few of this era bike too.
Hopefully 2015/2016 PCP bikes will start to hit the dealer floors by the end of 2018. The bike I linked above, lost 25% in 20 months...I expect another 10-15% when reaching 34 months. Or might budget for a 1199R should these go down to 16k...arguably the 1299s would make a better road bike with the ocassional track use.
A Gen 1 Pani R was offered on here in June for £17,950 (his trade in price offer from a dealer) it was a 16 plate with 1850 miles - so £16K is highly likely now for a 2013/14 bike with low miles if you get the right deal
No funds now :-( just bought a KTM 250 tpi six days...no more bikes until end of 2018 or my wife will kick me out.
I have 17, wife moved back to the Czech Republic, but still comes back for Christmas just remember, a wife is just for Christmas, works well
