Apparently Moto Rapido have recently rebut the engine but I've no paperwork. I've emailed them to see if they have any history on the bike even though I'm happy with it.
You won't go far wrong with a Moto Rapido build Rob. Top boys they are.... They did my 1098R, delighted with it.
Are they the Brembo race? I've switched to them. Bloody expensive but amazingly good. Instant bite and virtually no scrub in time. Maybe an outlap then nail it. Err, they don't last long either....
Agree. Few trackdays and you need to be checking them. When I ran a single caliper and disc with race pads (saved several kilos) with P4 (non radial) I would get 2 race weekends and be on bare metal.
Definitely. I learnt my lesson letting them go too far. The fluid boiled due to lack of meat left, I went for the brake... nowt... grabbed again (panic grab this time) lock up.... tarmac, sky, gravel, sky, thud thud ooof yer bassah......
I've run them. As good as they are, a SBS Dual Carbon is 98% as good and 30% of the price. The only real advantage of the Brembo pads, is they work better in the very wet conditions, and they do last a bit longer. You need to get a DC pad hot before it works well too, but a couple of hard squeezes in the pit lane sorts that
