After spending the winter on a shitty little 125cc scooter as my 749 is a bit precious, and along with the fact that I miss my 750ss to bits, I'd like another SS. Someone I know has a 600ss and he's not getting on with it that much and I'm considering taking it off his hands. I know it's a little underpowered in comparison to a 750, what's it like?
I reckon it will give you less trouble than your 750SS (you had some issues with that) but it will be just as good to ride....I suppose it might be restricted, but apparently it is easy to rectify that. AL
You'd think Al but he's complaining that it has issues. I could figure them out methinks, one sounds like a leaky carb which isn't much bother to find out. I was thinking less power is good especially for a bit of winter commuting and I loved to chuck the 750ss around, which I can't even come close to doing on the 749. :frown: Thanks for your views guys.
wife has a 600 monster which I "borrrow" from time to time great fun bike to ride a 600ss for a 2nd bike / commuting wouldn't be a bad thing
