Thought I’d have a few boiled eggs, I’m off work today, so a little light heathy lunch, heard a couple of bangs then a burning smell, yes, I forgot to add the water. Smart, eh
I've just got myself a bit of consultancy work. Just as well really as I've just had the Panigale serviced too.
today, like most days I had a row with one of the polish guys at work... when leaving work he apologised and offered to buy me a beer.. In Polish fashion though his idea differed from mine in that he just bought a couple of cans and we stood outside the tube station... ( I normally drink in a pub or indoors). Anyhu, im a site foreman but a working one so I look a lil messy at times and today was one of those. never thought I looked homeless though... but as we chatted and supped our beer, a lady walked out of the Tesco's behind us and gave me and him a box of Mr kipplings mince pies each, telling us merry Xmas and try and stay warm! as she walked off I realised we were standing next to a sleeping bag and stuff of an absent homeless dude. we left the mince pies on his kit... lil embarrassing but nice to know some people care...
Went to Moto Rapido to buy some oil and a filter - plan to change the oil over the Christmas holiday. As my team (all women) CBA to actually buy a 'man's present' for me for the secret santa I declined to participate and instead bought myself a key ring as my own 'secret santa'. I don't own a monster but I liked the shape and it was within the less than £5 (just) guide price.....
Just got back from the funeral of David Jacobi, past chairman of TVAM, who died from a heart attack 2 or 3 weeks ago at the age of 59. The hearse was escorted by over 100 TVAM members and 2 motorcycle police officers on a route from Lower Early to East Finchampsted crematorium. Great send off for a life long motorcyclist. His mantra was “it’s got to be fun” and as far as I am aware, still the only person who managed to hire the Nurburgring for the exclusive use of 160 British motorcyclists not once but twice. Have fun people, life is far too short. Andy
I've avoided doing any work in the kitchen so far and I think I'll probably do a good job of this working on the principle I can't boil water However I've had to "make" snow for the table centrepiece, blow up an airbed for the kids tonight, and fit new rollers we received yesterday to the en-suite bathroom shower door as one of the old one's had collapsed last week. SWMBO will want me to vacuum around later. I need a strategy to avoid this at all costs so any ideas will be gratefully received and considered
Looking after an ex's cat so she can take her 92 year old dad down to her sisters for a few days. Funnily enough she didn't mention he had fleas, I think she still might hate me.
The dirty old sod is like Terry Thomas. He only goes ballroom dancing for a grope. The 92 year old dad not the cat
