Somewhat subdued Christmas for us. My mother in law passed away on Xmas day last year, after a long battle with cancer and I was recently notified I am facing potential redundancy and am dealing with my ageing Father's cancer treament, having been diagnosed with bowel cancer three weeks ago. I have asked for a Ducati beanie hat from Santa to replace my old one, so all is not doom and gloom. Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to you all....Regards....Topo
Words are not enough, but have a peaceful Christmas and enjoy all the time you have with your loved ones
Thanks El T. Tough year this one, as was the last but you have to get on with life and make the best of what and who you have around you.
@Topolino as ET says words aren't enough, but I wish your Dad all the very best and success with his treatment. I lost both my parents to the disease, so I think I know what your going through.
And I wish everybody all the very best for 2018, even as stated earlier, even to the bloody Tories among you This site is awesome, where else could you get complex technical help and information on all things Ducati, then to expert advice on chimneys of all things. Like I said bloody brilliant.
Have a great crimbo everyone and I hope you've all managed to get onto Santa's nice list and all have a peaceful and healthy new year xxxx
As I look forward to spending the festive period with the one person in my life that makes my life a nice place to be, I remember those of our happy band who have been less fortunate this year. If I could have one wish it would be that you leave your pain and discomfort behind and be able to enjoy 2018 with vigour and pleasure. I wish you the very best of what you would wish for yourself. Warmest regards and best wishes, Andy
