Enjoyed the company of those closest to me, been fed on roast beef with the works and had one or two or it might have been six or eight chilled beers. Happy Christmas eve people. Andy
I've just finished wrapping the final present for SWMBO, a top of the range prosthetic leg. It's not her main present. It's just a stocking filler.
if you are a foodie try the griffin in felin fach near Brecon, and the stag in Titley, excellent food and ambiance!
Went to see the little matchstick girl and other happier stories at the old Vic today. Was great. Some trying times with the mother in law then followed. But we got her on the Pinot soon enough and all was well.
I've been advised not to mention this but today I crapped in a hand basin...,no I'm not proud, nor was I drunk... I am now obviously or I would have mentioned it... Anyhu... Beat that mofo's...
Today I have helped prepare then consume a massive Christmas lunch, watched the Grandkids unwrap their presents, watched a bit of TV and snoozed on the couch trying to recover from lunch, no drink as I start shift at 6am tomorrow morning, I hope you all have a good one, Merry Christmas.
Not even one, but I had a good bash on Friday night, got absolutely pissed on Steiny Classic, had a hell of a head on Sat. morn. Merry Christmas to you too mate.
Well I've been up since 6.30am with my two grandsons (#1 sons) as they came down from Scotland yesterday and are staying a couple of days. We've made Lego Star Wars spaceships, played with a scalextrix type game and various other bits and bobs. I'm now going back to bed so I get some rest before #2 son and family turn up and we start all over again. SWMBO and I have continued our Xmas tradition of buying each other the same presents.........this year we bought each other tickets to see Sarah Millican. One night in Huddersfield and one in Leeds Anyway bed is calling my name..........
Not today but it was getting dark by the time we finished, the new Wifey shed and veg plots so I can have my garage back and not do any gardening lol
Now got the first lot of grandchildren to tidy up before their cousins turn up in the next 20 mins and it's chaos all over again
Spent about 3 hours down the pub having Christmas lunch. Lovely food, great company but far too much to drink. Had a snooze when we got home and I'm now nursing a hangover. Andy
