Dunno bradders, they are the perfect size and shape for when the other half is out, I think they do an xl size too, hairdryer my arse
I had a turntable, spent the afternoon going through my old vinyl records from 30 + years ago...Nobody wanted to hear crackling noise on vinyl years ago now it’s become desirable, funny how things go full circle.
Been thinking of having a go at this myself, so could you tell me if it's quicker than using a towel, I don't want to waste my money.
Being offshore yet again this Christmas and New Year , we dispensed with the festivities and so no pressies. But the missus has allowed me to go ahead and get my 5 series touring , so that's a win for me
It works a treat unless you follow through then you have to start all again, and the neighbours do kick up a fuss.
Santa brought me a stonking hang over... And emptied my wallet... Another cracking Christmas. Still at least I don't have to find somewhere to put lots of stuff..
Looks like someone craves heating... Am agonising over whether to sell our Bay at the moment. Was looking at pics of my old Beetles, Ghias and buses today... je regrete rien... (except selling the '53 Oval and the '61 Ghia), d'oh!
Keep the Bay. Yeah defo heating needed but they were all too much of a bargain on one of the Beetle fb pages, saved a fortune on shop. Wish I had a splitty or Ghia but could only afford a 1200 Beetle lol. Just done the beam and disc conversion, engine, wiring and paint to do but not in that order
Currys and spent some money on belated present for 'er indoors...new washer/dryer And bought a TV for my office, conference calls and document production will be easier on 40" 4K
Had many many many over the years... I'm now 43 but had Beetles since I was a teenager. In my book you can't do much better than an early 70's Beetle. Preferably a 1200, and pre-73 with the central headliner etc. Derek @ The Trip Out 2015 by Ian Cleary, on Flickr Combined age... 134. by Ian Cleary, on Flickr BLV, Ghia and Scirocco 2004 by Ian Cleary, on Flickr 547580_10150986664498885_1770962933_n by Ian Cleary, on Flickr The guys... by Ian Cleary, on Flickr Morning! by Ian Cleary, on Flickr ...benefits of being old, I guess? A lot of these were affordable "old nails"... Good call on the heating. The Bus is toasty inside and it makes *such* a difference. Heated front screen in a flat-screen Beetle is a pretty nice retrofit too.
Very nice. Some sweet 90's touches there with the peep mirror / quiet pack and slopers. You going to refit the body trim for a Rest Cal look or keeping it simple? Wouldn't mind your hubcaps... they used to be ten a penny but I got such a shock this summer when I went shopping for some stainless ones with a VW logo... unobtanium! You got a build thread up anywhere? Be interested to follow yours!
I'd love an old classic, but my knowledge on keeping them running is so out of date. Used to be a run of the mill thing, didnt start so dis cap off etc but these days I'm lucky to know where the water goes in for the washer
