I didn't mention the electric bit cos that's way down the line in development, according to my source. The scooter however is relatively imminent apparently.
It's the battery technology that has to move on to increase range, reduce weight, cost and size. I've seen quite a jump in the last 5 years and cars are getting to the point where they are entirely practical. Bikes will follow at some point.
so it turns out that its all gunna be electric sooner than we thought... time to off load those fossil fuel burning relics that all you fat cats are hording...or work out a way to switch em to 9v copper top...
I've just been in the garage to begin converting the 1098R to lectrickery, coz I don't want to sell it. Going well so far, shouldn't take long.
Unfortunately Moto GP are to run electric demo's in 2018 and a support race from 2019 Give it 5 or 10 years and Moto GP is doomed. Have you watched those horrible squeely electric cars racing
