seriously considering re-marrying my ex-wife, but I'm pretty sure she'll work out that I'm just after my money
Watched "The man with the Iron Heart". I knew the story off the assination of Reinhard Heydrich anyway, but this felt like a big budget movie for TV rather than a cinema release. Then "The Foreigner". Jackie Chan jumping about doing things at 60 that I couldn't have done at 20. Pierce Brosnan doing quite a good "loose" impression of Gerry Adams. Better than I expected
New TV day. Alas the bolts for the wall bracket are few cm too short and the only m8 bolts I have are few cams too long. So had to fit on the stand for set up. UHD...wow.
Donnay Pro One I'll have you know - apparently most people already have one in their loft (next to the hamster cage and the dart board)
Coincidence, but me and the current wife just watched The Foreigner too, and it turned out far better than we expected - Pierce Brosnan was on top form as Gerry Adams
No, my last one was a 3D one. Just went for the OLED one and been out today and bought the Atmos Dolby soundbar and 4k dvd player. Got a good deal from the chaps at Richer Sounds in Cheltenham
There's a 3d version of yours...if you've got a 55c6v then you have the 3d version...I got mine as my tv broke but the nerds on the average forums were saying this was the one to go for...and I've gotta say I do tend to get the 3d versions of films now it's so good...the b6v is the same tv but without 3d.
Yes, I cant really believe someone never got shot for clearly marking that as Adams and co. Good movie, and nothing like the usual Jackie Chan fare.
Mine is the 55C7V, no 3D but I'll try and fix the other one. Apparently you can swap out the diodes for pennies and will put it in the kitchen on a swing out wall mount so I can watch MotoGP in the back garden when the weathers good and SWMBO is sunbathing
Ah...yours is this years version....mines the last of the 3d versions....apparently 3d is only been sold on the high end stuff now...
I stay clear of 3D, while its got so much better over the years its still limited in what you can watch (on normal TV) and my lad wears glasses so two pairs dont work.
