For 51 weeks of the year, my postman has managed to silently put objects through my letter box. Sometimes he's so silent, that when I'm in the house, he knocks or rings the bell so silently that I don't hear him and he takes my stuff away with him and leaves a nice card telling me I have a 6 mile round trip to the sorting office to look forward to. However, over the past week, he seems to be rattling the letter box like the drugs squad bashing a door down, even when posting a single letter through. Me thinks he wants a Christmas box. I might leave him a card telling him that I have a fiver for him, but he has to go to my place of work to collect it.

Even though we have chatted and I mentioned the black out blind upstairs being connected with me sleeping ?!?!
