Horseshit. I'll repeat it. 75 miles in my LEAF used to cost me about £2. As I could charge at work for free it sometimes cost £0 to fully charge the vehicle. My current diesel is getting 43mpg @ about £6 a gallon, so approx £9 to complete the same distance. Not for the first time - the cost of buying energy is about the same whether you buy it as mains electricity or as pump petrol. Look it up I just did........Cuckoo
I don't know what a LEAF is...but just because it cost you nothing to charge it at work doesn't mean it cost nothing to charge .. Or am I missing something here? Maybe I should read back a lil...
I'm not saying the car cost less or nothing to charge. It cost me nothing to charge at work, It cost me £2 to charge it at home, the equivalent diesel costs £9. I'm only bothered about the cost to me. The cost of generating this electricity or refining the diesel and transporting it to the fuel station doesn't interest me at all and I'm not arguing about it. It's like saying the cotton in T shirts made in Bangalore and London is the same. It may well be, but I'm only interested in the retail prices of £10 or £50 respectively.
so youd see internal combustion engines done away with if there was an initial saving to you, despite the fact that the environmental and financial savings in the long term may be minor of non existent? Lil bit selfish!!!
They grow once they have popped out silly. Like a baby grows inside it’s mother then grows some more after it “pops out” silly
It's nothing new, my mate had them in his loft back in the 70's It's about half an ounce in our local.
I know a guy with a diesel Maserati and it makes the most wonderful V8 sounds. Looked it up on the interweb and they do it with speakers under the car...
