Just put a Rapidbike Evo on. It will self adjust to any changes you ever make. Under £400 at Calsport at the moment.
I’ve got a set of very good condition 1299 lower fairings to get you started. Them AR and SC project cans look just as bad as standard IMO
Sorry to drag the thread back to life.. I’m searching the classifieds for a 959 (ideally with underslung ££) but have come across a couple of good priced 17 plates, one of which has the AR exhaust. Looks to me like my boot heel would melt away by touching the pipe! Is this the case? Presume not. I recall seeing a you tube where the guy had melted his trainer on his 959 SC projects can!! Also I’d like to say thank you to you all...I’ve been visiting the site for sometime now and your collective knowledge and willing to share has been a huge benefit so thank you all again...
One last question on exhausts I’ve just come across an underbelly Akra but there listing it separate to the 1299!! I thought they were one of the same...five hundred quid separates the 959 Akra vs the 1299?? Why?? Not sure if this includes the up map or not.
The Y piece is different between models so the 1299 one will fit but you would need the link pipe from a 1299 Does the £500 not include the fairing kit?

Good to know about Y piece. No fairing kit. There selling the ‘959’ Akra for £1800 and the ‘1299’ Akra for £1300 give or take a few quid..
Slip on with upmap? You would be cheaper biting the bullet and buying a 1299 y piece from Ducati instead of selling and losing money and buying another
Ducati and Akrapovic do not sell the y piece on its own. This y piece. 1299 down pipes have a valve in which is hassle.
The bit you circled would stay it’s the valve you need yeah How much you looking for out of interest?
Two sets have sold within this forum for that in the last month, and a few have gone on eBay (admittedly all 1299 ones). I think Spence wants to avoid the 1299 Header connection with the flapper valve in it encase it is slightly restrictive (it is certainly marginally heavier). @Spence , Have you looked into if you’re allowed to extend the 959 header connecting piece? I nearly did that on my last 959...
