I've been chatting with Andy800 Chiz, and we agree to give it to mid week, see how many numbers we have, see what dates, get something positive down, then go from there, what ya reckon ? Anyhoo, I reckon 4-5 nights plus the 2 whole days on the boat, so probably boat plus 5 nights hotels, hows that sound Chiz ??
Right then peeps, lets try and put a plan together this week. I'm sure we all need to work out holidays at work, getting a pass off the better half and working out finances etc. Lets reconvene mid week and see how we are looking. If anyone gets chance feels free to put together a suggested itinerary. I'm easy about most stuff but I reckon sorting out our own plan is the less restrictive option to a guided tour. @Dave @chizel @Wayne58 and anyone else who might be interested.
sounds pretty good. Couldn't afford much more but it wouldn't really be worth going for less if that makes sense... Not that I'm committing just yet mind! I very rarely plan stuff like this due to work and £ so please don't let me influence anything. I'll see what youl come up with and if I think I can make it I'll jump onboard!
No problem @chizel , but once you know, will need to decide, as if you wait till we nearly ready to go, boat and hotels are quite often fully booked.
21+ yrs old, annual cover incl UK and Europe thru the meerkat £110. I am too not paid if I go into work. But I don't factor in that cost for holidays, or I'd never take a day off. I just factor in 10m worth of day rate and work from there...treat it like annual holiday entitlement.
No problem mate, I do know a very good route, that ends in Barbera Del Valles (Eurostar executive hotel) as I have a lot of friends there who love bikes and going on the ale, but I see them loads, so am happy to go with any idea at all. The route down there does take in the N240, N260 and L511, all epic roads that are all over youtube.

understand mate. Tbh paying for ferry today ain't a prob but I still have to sort bike! The 620 needs the least... But there is no way! I'd like to take the 748 but that needs 1500 ish to repair all damage + a service. Maybe I just replace the broken levers and service then do paint repairs after... Hmmmm you clearly have more money than me! It's not so much factoring in, more I physically don't have a stash so a week off work is x lost and x that will have to be paid somehow... these are my problems but a sad reality!

So far, all have been 6m duration, so the one ends I need another...if I go more than two weeks, belt will get very tight Also why I wont be doing anything until I either extend or know I need another and start looking, which will be April. Shame, looks a good trip and to somewhere I have not been on a bike, and I didnt do one last year.
sell the porch... Plenty of trips abroad there! my problem is although I'm classed as self employed I'm basically a wage slag with no entitlements. this would be for another thread! I need to truly do my own thing...
