Quick update: I've just checked my e-mail and the mail I sent requesting a date to fly over and view the bike has bounced back with a message delivery failed type notification. I'm sure it's all in order but with that and the website being inactive, that's all the red flags I need. Luckily I hadn't booked the flights and I'll be sticking within the Ducati network which might take me a bit longer and cost me a bit more but at least I'll be able to sleep at night!
Seems they have a decent record but...I'm with you: massive red flags if I were buying. I've just bought a car, too far to go look at, we spent an hour on the phone this week, he's sent me videos, offered to collect me from the airport and if not suitable refund my deposit (just cost of there and back for me). So I felt comfortable paying and having him organise his usual fella ship the car down to me on a truck this week. Pay on arrival. Its got to feel right
Exactly. You buy the person, not the product. If someone’s duty of care before you buy is so lax as to make you not want to buy, imagine what they’d be like after you bought. It’s not like this stuff is difficult.

Hi Matthew, I mailed to request a viewing on Monday 15th as I can book a flight to Southampton on Sunday 14th returning early to Geneva on Tuesday 16th. I got a message failed notification from my mail server, Swisscom, which is now archived but basically said no such address. I'm not wishing to cast aspersions (not sure of spelling), I'm just a busy guy with limited time who's in the market for a few more 'special' Ducati's to add to the ones I already own. If you would fix the website it would inspire more confidence! If you wish to PM on here, I'd be delighted to arrange to view the bike and at the moment Monday 15th is still free although I do now have a meeting scheduled for Sunday 14th (yes really) with the very client whom is kind enough to pay me well enough to build the collection I am building so I shall need to rearrange that or I won't be buying anything at all!
