I'm starting on hotels tonight and routes. Will keep youth posted. You happy with ferry dates @Stu848 ?
Mate that'd be awesome, it'd save me a heap of coin. I was looking at this for parking. https://www.justpark.com Hotels are all on booking.com so payment not due till we get to the hotels.
Payment at hotel would be perfect for me, fucking tax man has spoilt my Sunday. Im pretty certain ill have someone who I know down there or near at least where I can leave van at there house and small ride to port for us so ill get feelers out.
Right blokes, I'm sat on the pooter, and am just starting to do routes and roads etc, does anyone have a preference or particular place they would like to go or a road they have heard about etc etc @Stu848 @Andy800 @chizel @Dave
Same as the screenshot that was posted earlier in thread? Friday 5.30pm or something and leaving sat evening.
Im completely in your hands, im not fussy regarding anything. Rooms need shower and a bed, any routes just allow for petrol for me and Andy and possibly Dave dependant on his new purchase. Will go see any landmarks/tourist sights or bike for hours of the day.
Myself, Chiz and Andy are catching the 1700 Friday 13th boat from Pompey, and returning on the Sat 21st at 2030 to arrive back Sunday. Dave is catching the same ferry back, but the one out, he is taking the Sat 14th boat due to work commitments. We can either meet Dave at the first hotel, or at the ferry port when his boat arrives at 2.15 pm.
I'm kinda considering 2 possibilities. A. A round trip riding to a new place daily, so basically going south toward Madrid/Salamanca , then east toward the coast so Barca area, then North to Ripoll, the west back toward ferry over the Pyranees toward Barbastro . B. Heading east out of Santander to Pamplona, Yesa, Jaca etc and ending up at Barbera del valles, staying for a few days and heading out each day for different rides. Being totally honest, B is the selfish option as I have a load of mates in that town as have been going there for 10 years following motogp. I would like to spend one night there to say hello, but the rest of the trip is really in your hands ??
Light comes on around 110, again dependant on how much a fistful i give it. I've pushed the boundary on one occasion taking it well into reserve. I think I was up around the 130 mark
Thanks for the vote mate, anyone else ?? Even with option B, we still go one way and come back another, it just takes the Salamanca bit out of the equation a bit as we won't have time, so it'll be Pyranees there and back ?? Got one vote, any others @chizel @Stu848 and @Andy800
Multistrada range says 223 miles whenever you fill up, but its full of shit and I usually can't go much further than about 120 before starting to panic .
Let us know what we can do to help. I'm happy to share all the way through, brings the cost down and as @Stu848 said its only somewhere to sleep and have a shower.
