Just lost interest, has no-one else seen it’s got fekking crash bungs drilled through the fairing ? Andy
It's looks like an SE, But could be an S, or even a base with the bodywork and parts fitted. It's not an R though. You can tell by the welded on steering damper bracket. The R bikes have a bolted on one like mine below. eBay My 1098R
Worst case not fully described deliberately, best case not fully described through lack of product knowledge and naiive for taking someone’s word for it. Andy
Is the Corse SE special? Or is it an end of run S? Either way, I'm confused why there's an R when there should be an Corse SE. Sounds rarer and cooler to my admittedly unrefined, tinnitus-ravaged ears.
It’s not just a sticker. Nose cone, wheels and exhaust are not OE for that model and it’s got crash bungs. Could be just a poor advert but you of all people should know, we as a commmunity are a suspicious lot . Andy
Had it been a new 999R Fila or Foggy Rep. Hexie would now be demanding a brass rubbing of the frame number, photographs of date stamps on every part of the bike, carbon dating of the frame sticker, letters of verification from every owner and Claudio Domenicalli himself, the seller's 1st born to be held hostage while the verification process takes place, receipts for everything the bike has ever had done, including air in the tyres from the local JET station and Fabiana in Bologna would have put a half day's vacation in to get a rest from his calls. Just saying like.
