Greetings From Ormond Beach Florida, the birthplace of speed! Newbie here, thought I'd look around and try to learn a little about the 999S. I work for a bike shop here and am trying to find a home for this sweet little Biposto. I can ship door to door anywhere in the UK for $500 USD. I think this little gem is not getting the respect and appreciation it deserves here in the US.
About £6500 + fees + delivery + additional shipping insurance + duty + vat at 20% + C of C fee + registration would be very expensive here. Circa £10,000 on a quick calculation. I do like your shipping cost though
Is it not on the original sales receipt, registration, all the other paperwork? Did you steal this bike?
Really???!!! I thought that was an exclusively S set of features... are you sure (meaning checked with VIN) that yours *isn't* an S? Ducati are buggers for using up stuff at transition points. Perhaps you got "bonus" frame features? Is yours a late 2004 by any chance? (going by your avatar you have the earlier sexier swingarm?)
Well this has gone well for the op Do brave it out though, at the very least you'll get another couple of pages of history on the 999/999s
