For what it's worth . . . my opinion. I agree the most beautiful bike ever built was: The 900ss Bevel in black - a bike I have yet to own. Second - the 907ie Third - the 916 Fourth - the 851
Well, as they say, "there's no accounting for taste"; there are even those out there who like the look of race rep's, Ferraris, I/you/we could go on and on. However I really don't see the need to call one of my pride and joy - "hideous". You could have been a touch more decorous. I'm quite sure you wouldn't have said it to my face . . . would you?
Well, now we're calling "Spades" "Spades" IMHO I think that the 916 is one of the ugliest bikes of all time but that didn't stop my buying a bike that was revolutionary, brilliantly designed (and built) top performing and generally a object of outright lust (which does not - of course -have to be sexy)
Now hang on a cottonpicking minute! You had it third in your best looking list Clearly just trolling for a keyboard fight
Design and aesthetics working seamlessly hand in hand. Now I am a very sensitive man who doesn't take to criticism well and will only accept positive replies.
In dann For the record I have NEVER - EVER drunk turps . . . shot it up intravenously maybe but drunk it - never.
You can’t seriously put that 907 second in your list, and then get upset about some criticism... Clearly beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but that’s a bike pushing the boundaries of even an acquired taste..
