Two day Valencia press launch of the Panigale V4 for the worldwide journos, starts today, continues tomorrow. Looks like the bikes are ready. Expect we will see a plethora of videos in the coming few days. I wonder how many of these will end being lobbed into the gravel.
Not sure why the are launching it at Valencia, too tight and twisty to exploit the power this thing is supposed to have.
44 Teeth guys were saying the same thing. The expectation is that the secret sauce wizardry and smokes, mirrors and complicated pulley systems will do extraordinary things around Valencia.
I would have thought Portimao or Jerez would have been better options. I'm guessing the weather plays a big part, as northern Europe is a bit chilly this time of year, hence ruling Italy out. They could always have chosen Yas Marina circuit in Dubai. Be interesting to read the varying reviews emerging in the coming few days.
Seen nothing official emerge yet, save for a couple of photos from the US online mob Asphalt & Rubber. Social media pages of all the usual publications is where to look right now. My understanding is the journos get 5 track sessions each. 4 on the V4S and one on the Speciale with the full system fitted. Not sure what tyres they will be running but unlikley to be stock road ones.

44 Teeth's first take on it. "Holy fuuuuuuuuuuuuck! This thing is faaaaaaast, as you'd expect from a cheaty V4. Still sounds like a twin at lower revs thanks to the firing intervals. But it's the handling that's impressed me so far after our taster session. Steers/feels like a 600. Telepathic around here. It's also smooth, easy to ride and stable - traits not normally associated with a Ducati..."
