Performance Bikes editor appears to have been blown away by just how good the bike is. Apparently they chose Valencia as its a track where the 1299 didn't shine. The V4 does.
4 sessions on the new 200/60 Pirelli Super Corsa that it comes with as standard and 1 session on a slick is what I got from one of the track side video blogs. Andy
Bloody hell it crashes well, big enough crash to lose the entire bodywork but not a mark on the rest.
First full length video review of the V4. All 17 mins of it !! - Best quote being: "Instant GP God. It's like talent in a box"
All these warm sunny circuits are making me seriously envious, thats on top of the bike which appears superb.
Another article. All seem to be blown away by primarily the handling of the bike and performance. In recent years they have rarely all been so unanimous in their praise of one model. The general consensus is it has supremely controlled, predictable and impeccable handling along with stellar performance. Few, if any of the articles I have read, draw much attention to the appearance of the bike, such are it's strengths elsewhere and you do get the feeling that whilst it won't be everyone's cup of tea style wise, I seems to tick every other box. https://www.cycleworld.com/2018-pan...erbike-weve-ever-ridden?src=SOC&dom=fb#page-8
Apart from the one forumite who took one out yesterday and has posted on here that he was underwhelmed. Andy
Yes, on a cold wet road in Peterborough, not the best conditions to assess an unfamiliar bike, but FairPlay he gave it a try
