Hello Everyone I was advised to join to see if anyone could help, this is my first time on a forum so not sure if I have done this correctly!. I have a 2010 1198S in Black with red frame, the bike is almost perfect now after I have put many many hours to get her back to almost showroom condition, however there is one last issue, the instrument/dash panel bezel/casing has been damaged because the previous owner super glued a carbon trim to it (Muppetry at its Best). I was wondering if anyone has for sale a good quality instrument/dash bezel/casing, even if the electronics are faulty I can swap my working electronics into the good instrument/dash panel. It has to be the later evolution 40610733A as I think the shape changed slightly, there are some on ebay but a bit costly, if anyone can then it would be much appreciated. Regards Darren
Welcome to the forum fella... Nice looking bike you have there You may get lucky and someone on here help you out, however the dash fronts are like rocking horse s**t im afraid due to the acrylic on them cracking being a common issue which plagues many owners... Therefore those that do have a spare one, have it tucked away nice and safe just in case (as I do). Keep a keen eye on ebay though and be ready to pounce as good ones at a reasonable price do come up occasionally
Thanks Ben, there are a few on ebay at the moment, around £200-£300, I have been keeping an eye on ebay, it is if I can justfy that sort of money on just the plastic. Thanks Again Darren
Hello to all, yes I am still talking 1198 instrument dash, are either of you willing to to let it ago for a price? I would be interested if either are in good condition, mine has an unmarked screen it is just the black bezel part that has been buggered up by the super glue. Can some photos be posted? Hi Andy Many thanks for help but I think there are slight differences, I have posted a photo of mine, if you look at the bottom profile of the bezels they look different so I'm not sure how this translates to the shape of the internal display/circuit board, I think I would prefer to get an exact model match.
