    Lamb Lies Down On Broadway - Genesis, followed by Marillion - Clutching at Straws - Do they still sell Loon pants and Afgan Coats in the back of the NME?

    Did listen to some Supremes on the way home though

    I'm going through all my Cure stuff at mo ...
    Not a massive fan of "wish" which is the poppish stuff most people know and like.
    I'm a bit more into the darker years.

    This is often an eye opener :)
    And what I've been listening to tonight.
    Guitars :)
    I really really need to start picking up my Bass :( .

    If you appreciate guitar :) a giant leap away from "Friday I'm in Love" !!!

  12. A brilliant sound - showing what you can achieve with a Gretsch and the right pedals - no doubt wah, flanger and chorus. I was wondering if it's a real wah-wah, or one of those pedals that does it all for you. Hard to see. Part of Smith's brilliance is in the combination of effects he uses, rather than any great digital dexterity. Hope for us all!
