Well offer accepted and deposit paid ,pick up Tuesday . Bike is in a mates garage , all questions answered , v5 present , no alarm bells so far. @Nelson any chance of my side stand back lol.
They may have left the bracket on, rather than replace with the spacer. My stand have the springy thing as well.
I hope it all turns out ok,i have done all the checks i can and the guy sounds genuine ,he sent me over a copy of the v5 and all clear on hpi ect,its a December 2014 bike,i will carry out final checks upon collection. Looking forward to stripping it down and thinking of a paint job.
Jem Speed are a bunch of tossers. I did a deal on the red 1198SP they had in last week. I tried to pay the deposit and the salesman asked if he could ring back, but then didn't. When I rung them back they'd sold it to someone else! The black one was mentioned. Got the feeling it's been bought and returned for some reason.
It's history was hidden when they had it up around £15k with 5000 miles from new. Was it Vince who found out?
