Hi All Just received a safety recall letter for my 2015 1200S. The floating piston of the Brembo front brake radial master cylinder needs to be replaced. The rear brake is not affected by this recall. Now I'm no expert, but this is clearly something which needs replacing quickly, as the letter suggests. Just putting it out there so people are aware incase they haven't received a letter yet. Im not too sure how many, or which models are affected.
We've been waiting months for it to hit UK, after it was announced for US bikes. I've had my recall for my 2017 M1200R. FYI - it's any with M50 radial front brakes

Hi Ian - appreciate im resurrecting an ancient thread here but can you recall any details? My 2018 Monster R appears to be weeping brake fluid from the underside of the master cylinder. Seems to be the nut thats wet?
