I'm keen to get the suspension set up properly on my 848 when the weather picks up and wondered if anyone has any recommendations on who can do this. I've seen all sorts of people claiming to be suspension experts but thought I'd see if there are any recommendations before gambling with someowhere or someone I don't know.
Kais did a brilliant job on mine. However they are a bit away from you. motorcycle spares, tuning, suspension accessories, suzuki
This chap did one of my old bikes...Well happy with the result Motorcycle Suspension Specialists - M H Racing
Any of the K-Tech UK premier dealers will be a good starting point. K-Tech Suspension, road race and offroad motorcyle suspension
We heard you the first time  And Buckinghamshire according to the drop down on his profile
Believe he's based in Derbyshire, but he doesn't have a shop. If you go to his website you can see the events that he's going to be at this year. He did my suspension at sliverstone and did a really good job. Ktec are in moira, just outside Ashby de la Zouche. https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&r...LgX8awNvKsZB56vgLKkCQ&bvm=bv.1357700187,d.d2k
He's between Leicester and derby but as the last post says he works out of a lorry and is at a lot of Track days where you can just rock up and get him to do it he charges £50 for the day but if you speak to him he may do a cheaper price for a 1 off road setting
Memory jigged by fujack. He's not too far from Ktec, in ashby I believe. As already said he's mobile.
I'm in Milton Keynes but so fairly central to be able to get to most places. I'm hoping that there will be another Ducati only trackday at Donnington this year as I think there was someone there offering a set up service
As others have said, Colin at 100% suspension is usually at the 'No Limits' track days. No Limits Trackdays - Serious Tracktime There's a track day at Silverstone in May or if you can't wait, there's on at Donnington on 28th Feb, you can ride up and spend the day with Colin. You don't have to do the track day, you can go for 20 minute road rides and keep coming back for adjustments until you're happy with the set up.
+1 After a recommendation I had mine done once by Colin at a track day (I wasn't taking part :frown and both him and his work were spot on. The forks have since been changed and both ends reworked.....
When you say setup, Tel, how far do you want to go? There's plenty of adjustment in the standard kit (I'm assuming, never set eyes on an 848 meself), so maybe just get your local Ducati dealer to set the bike up to suit your weight and riding style. I'm betting that'll make enough of a difference on it's own. And it shouldn't cost too much. Maybe take an hours ride down to MD Racing in Walton on Thames, he knows his onions. Have a ring round.
