I dumped my new motard while trying to turn around on a canyon road, standing fuckn still!! Didnt open the gas and clutch enough and down i went...2018 939! Thank god just broke the plastic guard...and my pride, never dumped a bike.
done pretty much the same thing, but with a overheating clutch that wasn't playing ball, and after a long day in the saddle I was just too knackered to keep hold of the bike. mine was minimal scratches as I did manage to lower the bike rather than drop it, but still a massive dent in the ego. Pete
Only one person saw me...all because i saw a new jersey plate i wanted to ask the dude where in jersey? When u see a jersey plate in california its a solid bond lol
Could happen to anyone mate, I’d probably feel stupid too to be fair but it’s just one of those things.
Years ago, i was turning my bike around (not riding it) and the weight of the bike went the other way thought thuck it i let it go... The thing was this was out side a Ducati shop.....what did me a favor was, it was closed... A group of lads saw what happened n laugh but the twats didnt come help pick it up...
And here’s why https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/rotating-rear-wheel-to-lube.54003/ Not counting all my riding errors!
