I'm fairly sure this 1098R is the same bike that was on eBay the other week starting bid £12k, then was relisted for £11.5k the week later. Came from Australia, then France and then to England. Both bikes have what looks like a very small chip under the air intake on the headlight fairing which makes me think they are both one of the same! Damn I'm good!
Yes BIG M you are quite correct it is the same bike. It was advertised by a client of ours in France, but due to a few viewings and few things needing doing on the bike we have taken the bike on to sell on behalf of our client. It is currently under going a full service, belts, new tyres, some small paint repairs and re commissioning after being stored and sold ready with warranty. It’s a lovely bike for anyone interested.
@Exige, what do you reckon ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-9...440538?hash=item362afcbd1a:g:JLEAAOSw9~5ZOY5o Andy
Looks the part, he has engine listed as 998, clerical error probably. Problem with imported bikes is usually history as Vince uncovered on the 1198SP recently. If all checks out ok it's about right on price for a Dealer sale when considering the mileage I guess. One of 310? I guess he means of the 2004 models sold. Not sure of the yearly break downs.
@Exige @Android853sp the 999 R seems a far price agreed for the mileage indicated. As with any bike as long as the proper checks have been carried out and service history is complete should have no problems
These ones. New listing Ducati 851 Mark 1 1990 UK bike New listing Ducati 996 SPS - Special parts - Lovely low mileage example
an acquired taste - don't like the pipes, don't like the speedo, don't like the belly pan.... plus it ain't a 350lc engine am gettin ferkin' finicky in me old age....
Seems a bit optimistic. Stick with the description it’s a bit verbose... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-Race-bike/192441395203?hash=item2cce66a803:g:VyQAAOSwJc9abz5j
