  4. tip for today - never wear earphones when vacuuming.

    I've just finished the whole house before realising the vacuum cleaner wasn't plugged in.

  13. Today, 5 minutes after midnight, left Hanoi for Sydney en-route to Auckland to visit brother for two weeks. Travelling with our 6 year old son, SWMBO flies through Singapore as she needs a tea sit visa for Aus (@%#$$!) and we couldn't get that sorted in the time available... she arrives tomorrow lunch time... C'est la vie...

  14. I tried to stay awake to watch the first snowboard events at the Olympics as I know the team gb athletes who were competing. I managed to stay up to watch Jimmy Carr till 12.30am. Then fell asleep :(

    Just as well really as none if the riders made the final anyway.

    So this morning I'm off up north to see my mum, who's going to be 90yo on Tuesday. Not that she'll know she's going to be 90 or that I've been :(
