After 5yrs of 748 ownership i've decided to move on and try something else, i purchased this 750ss ie a couple of months ago - 1999 with 11k miles, i've put on the single seat unit and titanium wolf race exhausts. Had a few problems with the clutch fluid which has been sorted with new Master & Oberon slave cylinders..
Oh yes! Definitely the best one to have! - even if I do say so myself! I think there's only about 70 1000ss in the country and only a minority of them are in the Senna colours.
Aint they just fantastic , had mine out for a nice run through the twisties on the weekend and they just handle so well. Still capable of putting the shits up modern machinery.
Keep thinking about getting something a bit more powerful/modern. But like you say on a decent road it all makes perfect sense. Who'd of guessed 80hp could be so much fun
You should get something more powerful and modern, makes perfect sense to do so, but for Christ’s sake don’t sell the 900ss to fund it, there are plenty on this forum that regret selling their 900’s, (if you’re low on garage space keep the mower outside behind the garage just next to the old bricks and half empty paint cans).
