They do seem popular in Germany, but TBH I don't want one that much....as you know @Robarano I saw a red one with 2000 miles on sell for £10500 on ebay in this country in January.
It’s worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for it. If you are asking me for an opinion, about as unlikely as buying a 1098R Bayliss for £14k but what do I know ? Andy
Cant help you with finding one but when you do it will defo will have been worth the wait, There something else, 4500 miles on mine, Good luck with the search mate
So the £10.500 SFS and the £18k Foggy were bad luck then (for the sellers) Your confusing me - it has to be one way or the other Anyhoo - as I say, if one pops up on Ebay and they haven't realised the increase get read to jump
Thanks for the pictures.....did you watch Bullseye by any chance......"this is what you could have won“!! Lol
I'd like one Stu.....I'm prepared to wait for the right one at a fair price.....but I won't pay the sort of prices that the Germans are asking.....I'm sure you understand where I'm coming from.
I could be but its a long way from meeting the criteria. Its not an S - though its had an Ohlins and K-tech suspension upgrade and the suspension is better than an S, but it doesn't have the TC. Its not low miles - 13,300 or thereabouts. Its hard to tell without looking at the service book and working it out because it had to have a new dash which sent the mileage back to zero. And it doesn't have full Ducati dealer service history because I had it blue-printed and tuned, so it has to be serviced at Luoigi Moto because they did the tuning and they know how its been set up. Different cam timing, totally different fuel and ignition map and much finer valve clearances. If a main dealer got hold of it they'd fuck it. And its still up at Louigi's with a cracked piston... The loom was getting chafed by the rear shock rocker arm (my fault probably, I moved the loom out of the way to remove the awkward third bolt when I took off the pillion foot rests and probably didn't reposition it correctly), that damaged the wiring and knocked out the front cylinder injector sensor so it was hosing raw fuel into the front pot which cracked the piston. Bit of a niche buy, not what most buyers are looking for. Rides like a rampaging bull though.
