Got to love the stuff in JHP's cave,i love the yellow version of that bike, your spec is almost the same as mine was ,i really really regret selling mine,if you ever think of selling it give me a ring and i will try my best to talk you out of it
First time using them this year and its where ill be going from now on. Rick did give me a tour round yesterday and showed me the dedicated engine room... mmmmmm. Had a look the at superleggera track bike he's building and the fullsix 21L tank had just turned up, so beautiful and light! The whole cave is just full of beautiful bikes and components, i could literally stay all day.
Yea the guys there are so helpful,Rick attention to detail is second to none,he has a genuine talent for building beautiful race bikes.Might catch up with you there one day
Anyone know how much the Pierobon swingarm is? I emailed them last week, but they must have decided I can’t afford it and not returned my email!
I think the style would work well on mine. Also lighter and stiffer.... but at that price I’d rather buy a couple of pairs of lightweight wheels!!
Thanks for contacting us, further to your Pierobon enquiry please find below prices as requested. • Pierobon 899 rear stand €427.08 • Pierobon 899 front stand €469.38 • Pierobon 899 swing arm €3,595.56 All prices shown are in Euros which will be converted into GBP upon time of invoicing. Also prices are net and subject to VAT, shipping charges from Italy are not included and will be charged additionally.
I know! They actually list those prices on their site. The swingarm is a mystery on there though... which is always a sign!!
I've met the chap who owns that bike. He's a really nice bloke. He hardly ever rides it, in fact it's done hardly any mileage at all. He told me what he's spent on it he could have easily bought a panigale R and still had a pile of money left. But he wanted to create something different, a real one off, no expense spared bike. He's gone through every detail right down to titinium bolts throughout. It's a real labour of love and a credit to him. I think the swingarm was around about £2500
Yeah apparently it's on around 1,200 miles and he has a 17 plate 1299s with 300 miles on the clock which he's starting to make that special next. The swingarm works out a little under £4,000 not including labour
