Held a suicidal man to the floor of the M3 motorway for over an hour waiting for emergency services. Once they arrived they argued who was going to do the paperwork, police or ambulance! Sorry for the traffic jam. I did appreciate the cat calling, photographs and shakes of heads as people drove by. All assumed I was assaulting an immigrant. Only one female doctor stopped to tell me off and to let him go. I explained that he wanted to die and was trying to kill himself by running into the live traffic lanes. She didn't do mental patients and left me to my own devices! But she was nice and did say sorry for jumping to the wrong conclusion.
I think anyone who saw what I did would help. What surprised me was the lack of help afterwards or the lack of sympathy from the police.
I, in no way can support this, that means my summer is ending, it been a record breaker and I do not want it to end.
Its taken me 3 years (of chatting with the bloke that runs the company) at the TT. We always go every year to see him and drool over all the stuff on his stand - pfm calipers, discs, master cylinders top end shocks etc etc (he's usually sighted down by the bogs). The first conversation we had with him i said "i WANT that shock" to which he replied...."needs and wants my friend. You WANT that shock but do you NEED it. I want a shock, but i NEED and new washing machine.." after that we call him Mr Needs and wants.... Yes they do them for all bikes, when my zed or hyper needs discs they'll be getting this type/design - i think they designed beautifully and are very cost effective to replace. And no, yer cant 'ave 'em!
