Still have the ST. I thought so too. Feels agile , love the up and down quick shifter....hopefully tour and have fun getting there.
Heated grips...i m soft. Taller screen and panniers. I've also gone for the rear grap handles....sure there's more to come
I have heated grips on my SS. I also have the panniers and frames off my ST2 on the SS because they are nice and solid.
I've been commuting virtually every day for the last three weeks and they have saved me, couldn't imagine not having them now. It's been zero degrees while i'm riding and that little bit of heat transferring up into your arms makes such a difference.
Someone on this site was lookfor an ST3 within the last few days, if you decide to move it on. The quickshifter sounds great. Didn't realise it was down as well as up. I have a Monster (amongst others) and I'm beginning to find I miss the more sporty riding position. A quickshifter and the fairing. I just wish the SS had the 1200 engine though.
Yes the pannier frames are modified and quick detachable on the Supersport. The panniers look good though. I am glad that the Supersport has a 939 engine and not a 1200, because I would not have bought it as a 1200. It is perfectly capable as it is. My wife is picking her new Monster 821 up in the morning, that is available as a 1200, but she has no use for a 1200.
That's quiet a bit of an upsell, I don't know whether I should congratulate you, or the salesman... I kid, I kid! Congratulations on the new ride, it's definitely a beauty. Hope it gives you many many kms of riding pleasure.
