I watched the race on eurosport and towards the end of the race they said Rossi was lapping faster than everyone but Lorenzo. So I'm rather surprised at those stats. Never did like Julian Ryder.
+1. Have to turn the sound off. It's like being stuck between two trainspotters on the end of the platform.
I'm a big Steve Parrish fan, but they've teamed him up with that other idiot - we need him like a third armpit. He's got even fewer motorcycle credentials than Ryder. On the whole, though, I prefer the beeb's commentary.
No worries  Hmm, maybe I owe you a couple! I miss the racing but I'm hoping to get an 848 at the end of this year and get racing with the BEARS here - the comeback (number 497) is imminent!
I like the idiot. I mean, he is a bit of an idiot, but the way I see it, his job is to be the shrieking cheerleader who appeals to non-enthusiasts, and you need at least one of those. We're all going to watch because we're bikers, but GPs need a bigger audience than that. Some family member within earshot of the tv might look up and amble over when Cox screams "That's shot the fox!" etc - but they're not going to when Moody/Ryder adenoidally observes that ooh, that's their sixth lowside on a lefthander in the southern hemisphere since St Swithin's Day or whatever. But Cox isn't popular, it's true.
