Mmmmm, pricey for what it is? Ex Rutter 999R https://www.pistonheads.com/classif...ati-999-999r-ridden-by-michael-rutter/8371542
Not really, for a 1,753cc bike. That must have cost a fortune to convert, but you'd have thought it would make more than 100BHP from the conversion. No wonder they only did 10 miles on it.
That has confused me. Why would a Ducati dealer underwrite a Desmocedici D16RR a They seem to know a lot more about Rutter's career than they do about the bike. Sloppy advert and IMO nothing special. Andy
Ducati took it in part ex, then because they aren’t a desmo-dealer, they sold on to SBoS for a bit more, then SBoS has added a load more on top, Andy. This is what they told me when I was there, then SBoS confirmed it when I was there after that. Apologies for any confusion.
It says coming soon - they have just stuck a quick ad up, got the only 2 pics off Google images of this bike and not filled in the ad headers yet. It's not on their web site yet either, but as Andy already stated it's way overpriced! I think the BHP figure will be correct.
I did think reading the ad that the condition was not exactly great, but I suppose it is difficult to say without seeing it, did you buy it lol?
No, but I did message him to see when the belts were changed last Not my cup of tea aesthetically tbf, I would want a later SPS with 5 spokes or an R, but missed the boat on prices me thinks
Yip, I have to admit I did like that extension with contents of Jack gratton a lot, he has good taste in bikes, but it was mentioned in that post he sold them all? Wondering what that was about and if some single person bought the whole collection of him in one transaction, there where a few R and SPS models in there which would have suited you lol
