You are tempting me but I was always told that no-one likes a 'show-off' and besides, I just know that if I upload pictures on to the internet, they WILL come back and bite me on the ass one day, most likely when I'm least expecting it!
Congrats! I saw mine yesterday at the dealer pre pdi (regular V4), but wont be getting it for another 3 weeks and can't wait to get out on it! Enjoy the countdown
Stopped by the dealer on Friday to look at some tidy tail options, one of the sales lads told me the bike was on the boat and should be here in a couple of weeks. I'll believe it when I see it coming off the truck but I have to say I really did not except it that soon. I might have enough time to get it to its first service before the trip to the TT. Cant wait.
Fooking Jesus you must have worked hard fella...best of luck but couldn't dream of that amount of brass and an Audi rs6
Looks like the bike arrives at the dealer on Friday or Tuesday (dealer is closed on Monday) They will slap the pipe, screen and tidy tail on it and have it ready for a launch party at the dealer on the 4th. They are showing the scrambler with the bigger motor as well. Should be a good night, there is a pub up the street where we all meet after they close. I'll pick it up Saturday and run it up the hill on Sunday, really looking forward to it.
Just in case anybody needs / wants a Speciale (non Mag wheels) from stock and don't want to wait on their delivery, feel free to PM me.
I didn't get on it too hard as I'm running it in but I put some decent miles on it this weekend. In the twisty bits it handles better than the 1299, holds the line like a 650. There is power everywhere in the rev range and it's way easier to put the power down on corner exit. Love the 1299 and plan on keeping it but to me this bike is better in every way. I think they both look great.
