  6. Yesterday actually...

Spent the day sorting everything out around the house after two enjoyable weeks in New Zealand visiting my brother and his family. Today will be spent relaxing and sleeping :yum Daytime intercontinental flights are not what they are cracked up to be. Departed Auckland at 9.00 am, arrived Hanoi 9.00 pm, 6 hours time difference... Shattered The young man (5 years old) slept most of the way. o_O

  7. Keeping a watchful eye on the forecast for early Wednesday morning and hoping the armageddan harbingers have got it wrong. Looking forward to a few days BSB pre season testing at Cartagena and don't want to be stranded on the runway at Gatwick. From the circuit's FB page, it looks like a good turnout and includes Shakey. Be interesting to see how Taylor MacKenzie compares to Glen Irwin who is probably an appropriate yard stick to measure by. Andy

  9. Another coincidence! Your Car is blue too

  10. Yesterday woke up to a beautiful snowy landscape. We have about 12 inches of snow since last Thursday. Finally been able to do some snowmobiling. Trails are already beat from everyone taking advantage of this. Now we are in for a warm spell! Above freezing temperatures all week... what the...?!

  11. I've provisionally booked up for next years snowboarding trip given there's 19 of us going, and you have to get in early to get everyone in the same chalet.

  13. Don't cut the gas (if it still has a feed), fit a gas poker to help with the fire starting... saves cutting up kindling :innocent:
Helps reduce smoke by pre-heating the chimney. :motorcycleduc:

  14. Today, I've fitted two new batteries to the Pikes Peaks, loaded 27 blocks and 400 Stocks onto a flat roof and am about to attend a wake....
I didn't go to the funeral as I wasn't invited or told about it by the immediate family..... now I'm told you don't get invites to funerals you just turn up......
I wasn't told this at school, college or university.
... How did I get to 51 without knowing this protocol!!!

  15. Thanks for the tip but there’s no mains gas where we live and the old fire was propane. I’m building a log store where the bottles used to be
