yup, twas me, sat in the sunshine with a cuppa for an hour, then took a gentle back road bimble home, stopped off at 5 guys in MK for a spot of afternoon tea then a royal hoon round the roundabouts of MK and home along the A5
bike washed off now and back in the garage, ice on the way to the Ace this morning on the back roads (B4525) a broken water main causing sheet ice on a bend (50p....rabbits nose....50p...rabbits nose moment) lots of mud splash and salt to wash off And to top it all off, my Gerbing heated gloves blew the bloody fuse 2 miles into the journey so those useless heated grips it was then. I was going to be all smug with warm hands, alas twas not to be ordered a new pair of Santi dry suit heated under-gloves and socks when i got home so smug face again next week. They will work with the Gerbing controller i just have to make an adaptor to go from SubSea connector on the Santi system to the Gerbing one. FYI Santi produce a fine selection of cold water diving kit so they will double up as bike and Diving heated kit, no more cold hands at 70mtrs underwater anymore (i think im getting old haha) https://www.simplyscuba.com/product...2_1519576765_da645dd28462050e1c90a443cce5a2ca
Thanks Pete for the info on the Mutley. I had the starter button in the wrong position and drained the battery overnight. Great to meet you. Sorry I missed the others who were there.
The button might be it. Or maybe the battery is just worn out and you need a new one. Get in touch about the Paso, if you like @Duncs . http://raypettymeccanica.com/
Hi OoRanoO used to, Langar in the UK and Spain US and Dubai, jumped the palm a few times oh and Poland once but it pissed down, miss it sometimes, I’m still connected to a lot of Skydivers on Facebook
Likewise, Seville mostly but all over the UK. Got a bit pissed off with wasting weekends that's why I went to Spain 4 times a year but gets a bit pricey, given it all up now and building a bike instead
This coming Sunday 25 March - meet at the Ace Cafe, Stonebridge at about 12 noon. The weather is sure to be better than last weekend, which admittedly is not saying much.
Sunday 29 April is listed by the Ace Cafe as an Italian Day. If previous years are anything to go by, there will be loads of Italian bikes and cars from various eras. Mainly organised by the Italian Motorcycle Owners Club (IMOC).
