848 Front Brake Line Clamp Ideas?

Discussion in '848 / 1098 / 1198' started by Stu848, Feb 26, 2018.

  1. Evening all, im doing the Brembo M4 upgrade to my 848, I am running lines to each caliper (race) but I only have one clamp on the bottom yoke.. Ive done some searching and came across this which im not sure if stock on the 1098/1198. Does anyone have one lying about, idea on place to purchase one as can only find them from America, or any other ideas.

I think you can get them for the 999 but not sure on folk diameter compared to 848.

  2. My race front brake lines are secured using a zip tie and a piece of car fuel pipe about 2cm long for stand off. Feed the zip tie up the fuel pipe, loop around the brake line and back down through the fuel pipe then around the fork leg. Flexible but robust. Andy

  4. Thanks for the reply, Ive just realised/thought I can pick up a rubber P clamp and use the existing bolt fixing (maybe a little longer bolt needed) which fixes the original clamp on.
