Hi Ducatistas Wondered if anyone here could shed some light on something. Rather than upgrade my Hypermotard 1100s this year I thought I would upgrade various parts staring with a racing ECU. From what ive read on turning on the ignition the scrolling message should read Race, not 1100 as my standard one does? Bought from a famous internet auction site, is It possible I've been sold a standard ECU in a performance ECU box or do some have the standard message on ignition switch On??? Thanks
Thanks for the prompt reply guys. Yes, the sticker underneath is IAW 5AM.BS over that is another with 22ABLH02(UK). Which strangely enough is the exact part I've taken off mine! 3 options then as I See it. My bike already had a race ECU, doubtful. I bought a standard ECU that's been reflashed? Fingers crossed. Or I've been done . And as there's an inch of snow outside I can't go check. So annoying
Thanks Chris. Is this the exact ECU I've taken off then? I guess best course of action would be to try and return said item and put the money towards reflasing my own standard item??
