Couldn't be further from the truth! Just walked into the kitchen as I'd not eaten all day due to meetings, then spending the evening in hospital up until 8.30, Mam had fallen today and bashed her bonce, but nothing broken and hopefully out tomorrow then some orders to wrap - never stops here! Another 16 hour day over, just washed down with a Whiskey
Woke up expecting a few feet of snow, no snow, plenty of sunshine so the windows are now open, might have a margarita later
We've had snowmageddon. That's if you can call a light dusting snowmageddon. But I'm working from home today anyway as I have become a snot factory overnight apparently.
Local auction house this morning to see the last of my late sister’s train collection go through. Clearly there is no lack of dosh in my neck of the woods, as many lots, especially Tamiya model kits and model cars, were fetching 2, 3 and sometimes 4 times the estimates. Packed my case for the next 5 days and thoroughly prepped the car for the icy run down to Gatwick. Just got to wait for Carole to finish work and then we’er off for a night in the Premier Inn and weather permitting, flying out early tomorrow morning. Cartagena here we come Andy
It’s been drizzling and the forecast is for the occasional shower over the next few days although the temperature should be 18 or 19C. I doubt very much I’ll be scaring the locals by getting my legs out in a pair of shorts though. Andy
Just turned round and come home to work, York to Pickering was looking treacherous but love driving in the snow, can't get over the local railway bridge with cars wheel-spinning
By contrast ex, actually considering getting a bike out, no snow, sun is up, it's warming up, car is defrosting, its a beautiful but crisp sunny day. I reckon by 10-11am, bike time ??
