What ever happened to the day when people popped in to the garage with a tax disc holder and just found a place for it to fit. Or managed to buy some tyres or some oil without involving the whole world. Take your bloody number plate offer it to the bike and drill some holes... Its not fucking rocket science! Since the new Multi came on the scene the level of dub ass posts has risen ten fold, I notice the increase on Ducatisti. I rememeber a time when the only thing Ducati owners worried about was flaking rockers, a time when Ducati owners had dirty finger nails and bruised knuckles! I cant believe we talk about hermetically sealed chambers for bikes and daring not to put miles on the because they might turn to cheese, its a fucking motorbike and buy is very nature it will get wet and it will get dirty AND if you use it as its suppose to be used you WILL put miles on it. And then the number plate post really is rock bottom!! Ape2Duc this is not a personal rant at yourself, just so happens your post is the straw that broke the camels back. Just don't read the posts if they annoy you! We are a discussion forum. It's likely to continue and as the forum grows increase in volume. If people want to ask advice on things like number plates then so be it. If you don't like the threads, skip to something that you may like reading. Rob.
LOL, bad day fella but I think it's a valid point too much drivel and not enough tech talk! Who cares who's got snow, where the tax disc goes, attention whores and such like We just need more naked (fit I do have to point out) lady photos :biggrin:
What a fabulous rant, its not so much the topic, more that I can sense your fury at the banality of it all. Rob, instead of suggesting that Mr C doesnt have to read every post surely you should be doing your best to ensure all future rants reach this frankly epic standard? Importantly, he is right too, do any of you remember a post on the old site where someone was asking what boots went best with his bike? FFS, you know what I mean.
I usually do just read the ones that may interest me, does not mean to say I do see the thread titles and sometimes I think WTF. It doesn't bother me too much, I only need to think back to some of the daft things I did to my FSIE nearly 30 years ago. If there had been forums than, god knows what I would have been posting......mind you, at 16 I probably would have been busy checking out other stuff on the net.:wink:

Sorry cant help you. However if you do find a good place to put the tax disc holder please let us know, before I consult the WWW. On a side note I am thinking of doing some general shopping should I go to Asda or Tesco and would you recomend the self service checkouts?
Nah, its not the benign posts they are easily igonred, just dont click on them! its decent posts that turn into the begign and ridiculous ones becuase of childish (even by my standards) and inane chatter. You miss things which may be of interest because of it. Great example the 600ss for sale thread... but I can always ignore it and the forum is busy so why should the main man change anything? ;-)
