  2. Didn’t cross my mind but now you have asked, I’ll try and get something nice for you tomorrow :D Had a lovely walk around the much more developed for tourists historical roman part of Cartagena. They really have made a huge effort to bring visitors to the town since we were here in 2015. Staying in La Manga last October, we didn’t come into the town in daylight so missed it. Absolutely tuckered out now but still have to visit supermacardo for a few things and have at least 1 more beer before bedtime :) Andy

  4. The Daily Mash promotes bikers....

Cafe owner would prefer invasion of bikers than middle-class mums

THE chaos and disruption of an invasion of middle-class mums and their spoilt children makes a Hell’s Angels rampage look like nothing, a cafe owner has claimed.

Helen Archer’s Bournemouth cafe is regularly taken over by affluent mothers screaming in her face about gluten and reacting violently to any attempt to curb their offspring’s creativity.

She said: “I don’t mind the bikers. Sometimes they smash up a chair or two, but it’s only because their toxic masculinity makes it hard for them to express their emotions.

“But get a couple of MILFs with pushchairs in and I’m trembling behind the counter in abject fear as Conrad and Jocasta smear jam everywhere and pummel the furniture with their wooden toys.

“They arrive mob-handed and act like they own the place. Other customers have stopped coming because they keep telling gruesome childbirth stories in their loud, posh voices.

“Some of them even bring their own food because the kids have made-up special dietary requirements. It’s a cafe for fuck’s sake. I swear they just get a kick out of humiliating me.

“I’d bar them but I’m scared I’ll be locking up one night and I’ll hear a Mercedes 4×4 revving up behind me. Then the headlights flick on.”

Archer admitted she had invited the local chapter of Satan’s Slaves to visit but they “did not want to get mixed up in any heavy yummy mummy shit”.

  11. Worried for tomorrow. Today we have had at least 4 patches of snow about a 1/4 inch deep, tomorrow is predicted to be possibly 6 patches and a half inch deep. I've got bear Grylls on speed dial

  18. Today I went to my 3rd funeral so far this year.

    That's enough. No more.

It was a sad day but a good day.

We buried one of my best mates dad. At 85 he'd had a good innings but nonetheless a sad loss. A good man, a really good man, that took me in and befriended me like I was one of his own.

I read the tribute, which was a struggle but at least they knew I meant it.

I drove 175 miles yesterday to make sure I would be there, without fail and on time. The snow fell and many people couldn't get there which was a great shame.

Guys, I don't want any sympathy, I'm just getting it off my chest but I'll tell you one thing:

    'Hurry up and enjoy ourselves'.

Live life to the full. It's our duty.

Buy more Ducati's, ride more. We never know how long we've got.

  19. My son went to his first funeral today of his work colleague who loved his bikes I believe he was taken by sidecar to the crem
I didn’t ask lots of questions as my boy looked a little shaken up I think a bit close for comfort after the last year for him.
His work colleague died of cancer

  20. Thinking of adding a transfer to the tank to denote the bikes past - here's a paper & sellotape mock-up to give a general idea of what I was thinking
