Just goggled the forecast, we back positive this evening and tomorrow onward, so can disconnect my heath robinson trace later, but it did the job for now though ...
Electric so no boiler to freeze and not much snow, happy days. Although I did have to turn up the heating by one degree
Yeah I see now, I read where you said "in my boiler pipe"...bugger eh, but at least its warming up now though....
Sitting here smug as I had new boiler fitted 2 weeks ago. Most thermostats measure air temp. What you 'feel' is dry resultant temperature. Thus adding 1 to 1.5 degrees on top of Tair in winter and subtract 1 to 1.5 Tair in summer to achieve a Tdr of 21°C is a fair approximation.
I was just going to PM this to you. I knew someone had a boiler backfiring and was trying to search for the right thread.... the condensate water backs up and stops the gas from lighting first time.
Local News - tonight’s ballroom dance classes have been cancelled due to the current bad weather - cos it's "Snow, snow, thick, thick snow".
Blowing a hooly here and a bit of Whitam's mental rain for superbike practice. Still a relatively pleasant 19 degrees though.
My pipe goes into drain that bath runs into, need a ladder to pour warm water on end The boiler has been trying to light it’s done it’s 5 light sequence and thrown a flame fault Waiting for my boy to come home to fix for me
