  5. This is a side stand I got cheap for my 1098R road conversion as it had been modified. Do this and you won't have a problem, it prevents me marking the paintwork even though I am a normal 6' 1" tall with proper size 10's and had no issues: might be useful to some :)

  6. I've seen quite a neat semi-perm solution just a t-piece bar and a couple of clips

    Here you go. Thought I’d go do it. Means I can also get the angle right before I go have a lug welded on. Free and took me 5 min (don’t ask why I never did it two years ago :confused:)
     
  9. Drill and tap a 6mm stud in like mine - looks neater and works a treat :):upyeah:

  10. If I can get the angle right, I'll have a bit welded on. Also reticent to take metal from the stand: the bike is heavy and leans enough as it is.
