Monster 1200 Engine Bolts

  1. hi all. I’m trading my Monster 1200 in for an XDiavel S shortly.
    I am removing my after market bits for sale.
    I have the Evotech engine crash protectors fitted and I need to remove them.
    Problem is that I don’t have the original engine bolts.
    Can anyone tell me the length of these bolts please?
    They are M12 x 1.25mm but I need the length so I can buy 4 replacements.

  2. Wont they be the evotech bolt length minus the crash protector thickness?

  3. I have just fitted r and g versions to mine will go measure the bolts I removed.

  5. Yes, but it’s not quite that straight forward. The cast arms are hard to measure.
    I may just have to leave them on the bike

  6. So they are 55mm long measured from under the head of the bolt, however the thread length is only 30mm.
