I have access to the technology to make pattern ones of these. The Moto Guzzi ones seem similarly pricey. Often wondered whether it's worth the effort, and whether people would pay similar money for non OEM but new replicas?

Problem is, neither of them seem to include the small seat pad with its Dzus fastener which is shockingly expensive in its own right. Andy
I do have the pad and that odd ball sized fastener which I had to buy new due to its rarity. I wept as I handed over best part of £200 for it! Ridiculous!! I'm sort of counting on a buyer already having one and just wanting the tail unit by itself. The pad is there as leverage if needed. Although I will have to add to the price even if I take a hit on the pad. Tricky one, might end up putting it on my own bike yet.
You can see quite clearly that there is corrosion around one of the bolts that should be securing the top chain slider which appears to be missing and the overall condition is most definitely showing its age at over 20 years old. £3500 ? Nah, and the correct chain sliders are rarer than rocking horse poo, hen’s teeth and a Leprechaun’s pot of gold all put together, I know, it took me a long time to acquire a half decent second hand pair. But not my wallet (which is a lil empty at the mo) - speedo change and mileage is why it's £13K I guess...
Yep. MOT in 2016 says 5,200 miles, in 2017 says 3,580 miles. It now shows 3,880 in the advert but states 9,087 due to the speedo change.
