My neighbour asked me to check his property for water leaks following the thaw.... managed to drop my phone and tish'ed the screen. ...... God works in mysterious ways!!! And I'm a clumsy cockwomble.
Had a leak coming through my kitchen extractor hob thingy. Water streaming over cooker hob. Could not figure out where was coming from. Have keys for next door so let myself in, place totally flooded. Was coming from loft so turned off stop cock and fuse box. My kitchen is OK, needs a bit of paint/filler. Next door is FUBAR. Drank Scottish.
Just cleared last nights snow, came inside for a cup of tea and now it's snowing again as hard as ever.
Honestly, it really is a beautiful sunny day down here in the beautiful south. Might even go for a walk with the Mrs. No way would I take a bike out with all the salt though.
Phone cal from my ma yesterday morning ,water coming thorough ceiling in flat where she is. Two hours later brother phoned to say water coming through ceiling from ma’s house that we are selling. Must buy a lottery ticket - my lucky day ....
