British Indy: What Happens Now?

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.

  10. Not really. I've always thought the Boro, Newcastle Utd and Sunderland were shite.

  12. Probably not.

But let's be honest, the vote took place and as far as I'm concerned that's that. Results came in and decision made. The end

Unfortunately it tends to be people who voted remain that are moaning, or news agencies pushing a continuous negative viewpoint greasing the wheels of despair.

I'd be quite happy if all news coverage ended and we simply got on with it all

  14. Don't you worry, you little poppet.

Those "powers" are yours for as long as you want them, assuming we don't take them back.

  15. Nothing is forever. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it reversed in the future.

  16. Me neither, but that's a thread for another day :)

It's just the constant whining that grates on me and the media play that like a fiddle

Let's just get on with it. Listened to TM earlier in an interview and like her or loath her, what she's saying is absolutely correct.

Every deal done so far with the EU is a cherry picked deal to an extent. The EU are the ones being unreasonable and from a business perspective pretty unprofessional in terms of the comments made

The sooner the UK comes together and realises that the better outcome for leave or remain voters, because at the moment remain voters are almost sanctioning the way they're behaving and fuelling it, and that's not helping their cause either.

  17. Still think you are wrong. The UK has chosen to leave a group of Countries who have an agreement amongst themselves. Effectively the UK is asking to keep the rules they want and ignore the ones they don't.
    That cannot happen.
The EU will protect the countries within that group. What the UK does is not their problem.

Its like choosing to leave a golf club but asking still to be allowed to play whenever we feel like it.

  18. In the simplest of terms, correct - but misses the essence of the issue. The agreement is to dissolves said countries into one State. 1/10

Welcome to Negotiation 101 where we hope to educate you on the first principles of making deals. 0/10

Nearly true but the EU will want the UK to be able to trade with them, as the UK is a net importer of EU goods/services. 2/10

    Ludicrous metaphor. 0/10

    Dookie, you are improving!
